We Have a One Year Old!!

Addi's birthday was March 19, and we had a big party for her the day after. It was a safari theme, and she had so much fun playing with everyone in the family! I'm so thankful to have so many loving and supportive people in her life! She was a bit overwhelmed at first, but she seemed to calm down and just enjoy herself! She got a ton of loot also, so life for her couldn't have gotten any better!

We got some 1 year/family pics taken a few days before her birthday. I was so excited to finally get some taken, but that morning Addi wouldn't take a nap... and to top it off it was FREEZING outside! We did get some amazing pics, but not as many pics as I had hoped for. By the end, we had a very mad child, and were freezing.



I have always been interested in photography, and really have wanted to get my own nice camera and learn to take great photos. After Addi's birthday, we decided to get a nice camera, and I have been playing with it ever since. It's a lot of information to obtain, and I have only gotten partial way through this huge book... but it is so much fun, and I have really taken some great photos. We've been so blessed to have my Brother and his family around the corner, as well as my parents so close... I love the time we get to spend with them, and Addi enjoys being with her cousins!





This was Addi's second Easter, but this time she got to do the egg hunt! She didn't sit on the bunny's lap this year, mainly because she was terrified of him! It's the thought that counts, right? I got some great pictures of her searching for eggs all by herself, and she has so much fun with both families!
